Common questions
Does Ldgr connect to my bank?
No — and that's on purpose. You add every purchase by hand. It keeps you present with your spending instead of reviewing it after the fact.
How much does it cost?
Ldgr is free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Do I need an iCloud account?
Not to use it on a single device. You only need iCloud if you want your budgets to sync across your devices or to share a budget with someone else.
How does sharing a budget work?
You can share any budget with one person or several through iCloud. Everyone you invite sees that budget's purchases, and each purchase is attributed to whoever added it — so you always know who spent what.
Can budgets reset automatically?
Yes. Each budget resets on the schedule you choose — daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly — and you can page back through past periods to see how you did.
Is my financial data private?
Completely. Your budgets and purchases live in your own iCloud account. There's no Ldgr server, no analytics, and no ads. See the privacy policy for the full details.
How do I delete my data?
Delete any budget or purchase directly in the app at any time. Because everything is stored in your iCloud account, you can also manage it through your Apple Account and iCloud settings.
