Terms of Use
Last updated July 2, 2026
The short version: Ldgr is a free app made by one person. It's provided as-is, your data is yours, and it's a budgeting tool — not financial advice. Use it in good faith and it'll serve you well.
These terms cover your use of Ldgr, a manual budgeting app for iPhone. By downloading or using Ldgr, you agree to them.
The app
Ldgr is a personal budgeting app. You create budgets, set spending limits, and add your purchases by hand. It does not connect to banks, move money, or process payments. It is a tool for tracking your own numbers.
Cost
Ldgr is free. There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
iCloud and sharing
Ldgr works on its own for tracking on a single device. To sync across your devices or share a budget with someone else, you need to be signed in to iCloud. Syncing and sharing are provided through Apple's iCloud, and your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's own terms. When you share a budget, you're responsible for who you invite and what they can then see.
Your data is yours
The budgets and purchases you enter belong to you. They're stored in your own iCloud account, not on any server run by the developer. You can edit or delete your data at any time. See the Privacy Policy for the details.
Acceptable use
Please use Ldgr only for its intended purpose — your own personal budgeting. Don't attempt to break, reverse-engineer, disrupt, or misuse the app or Apple's services that it relies on.
Not financial advice
Ldgr helps you record and watch your own spending. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and the numbers it shows are only as accurate as what you enter. Decisions you make about your money are your own.
No warranty
Ldgr is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. The developer does not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free, or that it will meet your particular needs. You are responsible for keeping your own records where that matters to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of Ldgr. Because Ldgr is a free app, this is a fair trade for using it at no cost.
Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. When they change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Continuing to use Ldgr after a change means you accept the updated terms.
